What this site is
NewTaxTools publishes free calculators for the federal tax deductions and credits created or changed by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (P.L. 119-21) for tax years 2025 through 2028. Our goal is simple: let anyone estimate, in seconds, what a new tax rule is actually worth to them.
How we build and verify each tool
Every calculator is built from official IRS primary sources — newsroom fact sheets, form instructions (such as Schedule 1-A, Schedule 8812 and Schedule A), and the underlying statute — not from second-hand summaries. For each rule we record the cap, the income phase-out mechanics, and the exact rounding the IRS uses, and we link the source on the calculator page. The calculation logic is covered by an automated test suite that reproduces the IRS's own worked examples.
Editorial independence
This site may earn advertising revenue, but advertising never influences the numbers or the rules we present. Where the IRS has only issued proposed regulations, we say so.
